Once again, we're looking for the best karaoke singers in the Tri-States! Twelve people will be singing at the World's Largest Office Party on April 23rd at the La Crosse Center... for the chance to win the grand prize of $998!

KQ98 COUNTRY IDOL COMPLETE RULES:
ELIGIBILITY & EXECUTION:
Contestants must be 21 years of age or older. Proof of age and valid driver's license or state issued ID required.
No Entry Fee
At qualifying events, registration will begin 30 minutes prior to the event starting.
The first 20 people registered will be allowed to compete.
A random drawing will determine the singing order at qualifying events.
Music provided by Kahuna Karaoke, contestants will be allowed to bring their own Karaoke disc.
JUDGING DETAILS & GUIDELINES:
Judges shall not talk to contestants at all prior to contest, nor to the audience members.
Any and all questions for the judges regarding the contest shall be directed to the contest host only.
The score sheets will not be viewed by anyone other than the judges and contest host.
The judges will be judging on three categories:
-Vocal Ability:
a. Tone Quality (Vibrato)
b. Pitch Control (Range and Projection)
c. Articulation (Tempo and Rhythm)
-Technical Accuracy
a. Diction (Enunciation of Lyrics)
b. Precision and Delivery of Lyrics
-Stage Presence
a. Body Language, Style, Interaction with Audience, Confidence and Charisma
b. Overall Entertainment (Audience Appeal and Performance Value)
In the event of a tie, the highest Technical Accuracy will determine the winner. If there is a tie in the Technical Accuracy, Stage Presence will determine the winner.
The top two qualifiers will sing at The Worlds Largest Office Party on April 23, 2009.
Each qualifier will also receive two tickets to the World's Largest Office Party.

Home in La Crosse, WI), World's Largest Office Party sponsors and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win.

Mid-West Family Broadcasting reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate this contest should causes beyond the control of Mid-West Family Broadcasting, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest.
Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for the contest.
All decisions are final by discretion of Mid-West Family Broadcasting.
