    For the record... 2011 Best Buck Contest Official Rules:
    Contest runs September 17, 2011 through January 8, 2012.  The grand prize winners, including youth hunt category, will be announced on Monday, January 16, 2012 on KQ98.  Photos submitted after January 9, 2011 will not be eligible for this contest. 

    All photos submitted must be from deer harvested during the 2011 deer season.  Photos that are not taken during the 2011 season will be disqualified.

    All submitted photos will become property of Mid-West Family Broadcasting and the submitter gives Mid-West Family Broadcasting permission to use the photos in conjunction with KQ98's Best Buck Contest 2011.

    Deer harvested by individuals 16 years of age and younger will be entered into the "Youth Hunt Category".

    Photos will be posted at KQ98.com in random order and at the discretion of KQ98 and Mid-West Family Broadcasting

    Judges for the weekly contest will be both experienced and inexperienced hunters.  Judges for the grand prize selection will be avid and professional hunters.  Judges will be selected by KQ98 and Mid-West Family Broadcasting.  All weekly and grand prize winners are chosen by the quality and aesthetics of the picture, photos are NOT judged by the size of the deer.  "Votes" received on the photo gallery are not factored in to determine weekly or grand prize winners.

    Youth Hunt photos will be judged using the criteria stated above.  ONE winner will be chosen from all youth photos.

    No purchase necessary.  Must be a resident of Minnesota, Wisconsin or Iowa.  Deer may be harvested outside of submitters home state.  Employees of Mid-West Family Broadcasting and contest sponsors (Mathews, La Crosse Archery, Rod's Ride On Powersports, Al Bartz Scenic Taxidermy, Southern Exposure Silver, Spent Arrow Taxidermy) and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.  All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes associated with their acceptance of price and will be required to sign a release form.  All contestants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that Mid-West Family Broadcasting has the right to publicize, or broadcast the winner's name, character, likeness, voice or all matter incidental herein.  Additions or deletions to these rules may be made at the discretion of Mid-West Family Broadcasting, and may be enacted at any time.  Mid-West Family Broadcasting reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate this contest should causes beyond the control of Mid-West Family Broadcasting, corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest.  Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for the contest.  All decisions are final by discretion of Mid-West Family Broadcasting.
