1 1/2 - 2 oz. scotch

1/2 oz. sweet vermouth

Dash of orange bitters

Maraschino cherry

Fill a tumbler glass with ice. Pour scotch, sweet vermouth and orange bitters into the glass and stir well. Garnish with the cherry.

1 1/2 oz. gin

3 oz. cranberry juice

1/2 oz. lemon juice

Orange bitters

Club soda

Pour the gin, cranberry juice and lemon juice into a tall glass filled with ice. Add the several dashes of the orange bitters and stir gently. Fill the rest with club soda.

I love raspberries and I love mojitos, try this new summer cocktail at River Rats on French Island.

Raspberry Mojito

2 oz. Raspberry Rum

Cranberry Juice

Fresh Raspberries

Mint

Lime 

Sugar cube

Muddle together the fresh raspberries, mint and sugar cube in the bottom of a shaker. Add ice and raspberry rum. Shake and pour contents into a tall glass. Fill the glass with cranberry juice.  Squeeze a slice of lime into the drink, stir and enjoy! 

 

 

Beachside Peach

I found this recipe on Pinterest and I think my mom will really like it when I make it for her this weekend. So refreshing! Especially if you like peach.

Beachside Peach

1 1/2 oz. peach flavored vodka

1 1/2 oz. pineapple juice

1 1/2 oz. cranberry juice

1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

2 oz. ginger ale

Mix the peach vodka, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and fresh lime juice in a shaker with ice. Pour into a tall collins glass. Fill with ginger ale. Garnish with a lime wedge or slice of peach.

River Bandit

1 oz.White Rum

1 oz. Pineapple Rum

1 oz. Blue Curacao

1 oz. Black Cherry Rum

Grapefruit Juice

Pineapple Juice

Mix the white rum, pineapple rum, blue curacao and black cherry rum in a shaker with ice. Pour contents into a pint or mason jar glass. Fill with equal parts grapefruit and pineapple juice.
