HAPPY HOUR HELP BROUGHT TO YOU BY RIVER RATS BAR & GRILL
Travis and I were just talking about cocktails and a White Russian came up, a few of these will definitely be made this weekend.
1 -2 oz vodka
1 oz. Kahlúa or coffee liqueur
1 oz. Creamer
Fill a small tumbler glass with ice. Pour in the vodka, followed by the Kahlúa, and topped off with the creamer. Use a flavored creamer for a little more flavor. Stir gently and enjoy!

Whiskey Old Fashioned
1 -2 oz. Your Favorite Whiskey
Dash or Two of Angostura Bitters
Wash (As in seltzer, 7-up, water, sour - whatever your preference)
In an old fashioned glass, crush the sugar cube and the maraschino cherry at the bottom of the glass with a muddler. Fill glass with ice. Pour whiskey into the glass, add a dash or two of bitters and fill with whatever wash you choose (I like to do a press, which is half seltzer and half 7-up). Squeeze orange peel into the glass and give it a good stir. Enjoy!
I'm not a big tequila drinker, but when I do drink it I like a few of these.
1 1/2 oz. tequila
Juice of 1/2 lime
3 oz. orange juice
3/4 oz. grenadine
Mix all the ingredients except the grenadine and the lime slice in a shaker with ice. Pour into a tumbler glass. Slowly pour in grenadine, but do not stir. Garnish with lime slice.
My friend really likes scotch and assures me that this tastes great.
2 -3 oz. scotch
1/4 oz. lime or lemon juice
Lime or Lemon Wedge
Mix the scotch and lime or lemon juice in shaker with ice. Pour the contents into a tumbler glass and fill with ginger ale. Garnish with the lime or lemon wedge.
I'm usually not one for bourbon, but this is absolutely delightful.
Kentucky Orange Blossom
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Orange Juice
Lemon peel or wedge
Mix all the ingredients except the lemon in a shaker with ice. Pour the contents into a tumbler glass. Squeeze the lemon peel or wedge over the drink and drop in. Enjoy!
