Clare Bowen is one of the stars of the hit television show Nashville. She plays the character Scarlett O'Connor and on a recent episode, she cut off her long luxurious blonde locks to the shock and dismay of every viewer. Turns out, she actually chopped her hair off in real life too. Bowen took to Facebook after the episode aired to explain the reason why she cut her hair off and it's absolutely beautiful. Especially the very last line she writes.
Nashville airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on ABC.
Whether you get offended by it or not, it's really not a good idea to wear blackface. But it's especially not good if you're a country superstar. Jason Aldean is causing controversy with a recent picture published of him dressed up as Lil' Wayne for Halloween, thus including painting his face black. The picture was first published by Nashville Gab. Aldean's rep confirmed that it was him. He hasn't issued an apology for it yet. Do you think he should? Or should this be overlooked because it was Halloween?

Maddy Douglas is in 4th grade and was recently working on some math homework when she came across the following question. "In high school, Frank, Mike, George, and Ron each went out on a total of 4 dates with 4 different girls. The second time Frank dated Rose and George dated Kay. The third time Mike dated Mary and Ron dated Louise. The fourth time, George dated Louise and Ron dated Kay. For each of the 4 times, tell which girl dated which boy."
Maddy went to her mom Jenn Douglas for some help and she wasn't getting it either. Maddy then had the most perfect response. Take that common core!

And for the record, I'm pretty proud that I figured out the answer to this math problem. YAY ME!
Like many others, I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the sequel to the 2003 film Finding Nemo. A movie poster for Finding Dory has just been released and it plays on Finding Nemo ties. Finding Dory will hit theaters June 17, 2016 and Dory will once again be voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. She was the first to share the poster on Twitter.
