      03/12 - Benefit Dance for Handicapped Children and Adults
    The Winneshiek Saddle Club Via Pony Express will be holding a Benefit Dance for Handicapped Children and Adults Friday, March 12th from 7pm-11pm. Tickets are $5 for adults in advance and $6.00 at the door. Kids 12 and under $2.00 in advance and at the door.

      03/13 - La Crescent Hokah Community Education March Madness Sale
    The La Crescent Hokah March madness sale will be happening Saturday, March 13th from 8am-Noon at the La Crescent High School, 1301 Lancer blvd.     Want to have a little fun and raise money for the future of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. Many people are unaware of the RMEF and how successful they have been in reintroduction of elk into the Northern Forest.       03/13 - The La Crescent Lions Club 22nd Dinner
    The La Crescent Lions Club will sponsor their 22nd Annual Boiled Codfish and Norwegian Meatball Supper on March 13th, from 3:30-7:30pm. Tickets for the ALL YOU DARE TO EAT SUPPER are available from members of the La Crescent Lions Club, Home Federal Savings Bank, American Legion Club, Apple Blossom Cleaners, and The Merchants Bank.       03/19 - St. Aloysius Parish Fish Fry
    St. Aloysius Parish in Calmar, Iowa will be holding a Fish Fry March 19th, from 4-8pm. They will be serving Fish Fillets with homemade tartar sause, fresh baked bread, potato salad, Coleslaw and Bars. Tickets are $7.50 in advance and $8 at the door. Children 5-12 years $3.50 at the door. Children 5 and under Free.

      
      03/20 - Ace in the Hole Cornhole Tournament
    Ace Hardware will be holding a 2 person double elimination tournament Saturday March 20th at the Baus Haus. The entry fee is $25/ 2 person team. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and Gunderson Lutheran Medical Foundation. Registration begins at 10:30am and the Tournament starts at 11:00.

      03/21 - Meatball and Lefse Lunch
    The West Salem Relay for live and team Pres'ing for a cure is having a Meatball and Lefse lunch on March 21st from 11am until 1pm. $7.00 includes meatballs and gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Lefse, dessert and a beverage.
