Supporting the Freedom Honor Flight

Serving 30 counties in three states, Freedom Honor Flight flies veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor. This moving and impactful mission is supported solely through donations and run by volunteers and for this reason, KQ98 Cares along with Morrie’s of La Crosse highlight their good work. Join us in helping their important work either through a donation or through volunteer hours.

The Freedom Honor Flight Schedule for 2019

Flight 23: May 18, 2019

Flight 24: September 14, 2019

Attend the Send Off ceremony at 6am on Saturday, May 18th or the Welcome Home ceremony the same evening. Both ceremonies are held at Colgan Air Hangar 4 at the La Crosse Airport. The hangar doors will open at 9:30 p.m. and both are great events to show your support.

There is also a reunion for veterans and guardians and their families after the flight. The reunion for the May 18th flight is scheduled for Sunday, June 23rd at the La Crosse Center from 2 -4 p.m.
