Doctors Remove Over 500 Teeth From 7 Year Old Boy’s Mouth

A 7-year-old boy in India recently had to have more than 500 teeth removed from his mouth. When the boy was brought into the Saveetha Dental College and Hospital with a complaint of swelling in his jaw, doctors discovered a large lesion with multiple hard structures in the lower jaw. While performing surgery on the boy, the operating surgeon noticed a bag-like mass which was removed in its entirety. On further evaluation, the oral pathologists found that the bag actually contained 526 tooth-like. The hospital said it took 5 hours of meticulous searching to remove all of the minute teeth from bag like specimen.
