Country Star OF The Month: Justin Moore
Written by admin on April 1, 2020
Justin Moore is one the last true “cowboy” singers in country music. He is easily identified by his 10 gallon, white cowboy hat that he proudly wears as he hits the stage or performs in a video. Justin’s career started in 2008 as he went to Nashville to play in his uncle’s band. In February of 2009 his song “Small Town USA” hit and put him solidly on the map as it hit number one. He followed that up with the top 10 hit “Backwoods”. In 2011 he had two more hit’s – “Bait A Hook” and “Till My Last Day” which went to number one on the charts. Keeping his streak alive of a hit about every two years in 2016 he had “You Look I Need A Drink” hit number one. Justin hasn’t been up for a ton of awards, but he did win an ACM for New Country Artist Of The Year in 2014. Justin’s latest song “Why We Drink” is currently climbing the charts and should be a great summer jam!
Justin was at the La Crosse Center a few years ago and he’s making his way back here this summer! Justin will headline Country Boom on Friday night, July 10th with Dyan Scott and Jo Dee Messina taking the stage earlier that night. We’ll be getting ready to party with Justin in July!
