Safe, Fun, & Socially Distancing 4th of July Party
Written by Brittany Styles on July 3, 2020
You want to practice social distancing, but you also want to have some fun this weekend! We get it, and you can do both. Get out the tape measure and stay 6 feet apart from one another, seriously! Measure out spots for people to sit. Wash your hands often, try not to share things, and do your best to stay safe! Here are some tips and fun recipes for a safe and happy 4th of July celebration!
Anything you can make where each person gets their own is the best way to go! Click on each for full instructions!
FOOD/BEVERAGES: Use disposable plates, napkins, utensils and have your guests bring their own beverages and lawn chairs!
Instead of a spoon for the fruit, try this! You could also use this as a grilling idea and do chicken or steak skewers with grilled veggies!
KIDS: Treat ideas for the kiddos
RESTROOM: Use one bathroom and if you want to post rules/instructions, go for it! Post one on the door going in and one inside the bathroom to be sure your guests understand the rules. You may want to consider removing the cloth towels and replacing with paper. Be sure you have enough hand soap, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer.
If you feel up to it, enjoy a small safe and socially distancing gathering this weekend. Do whatever makes you feel comfortable! These are the current recommendations from the La Crosse County Health Department.
