Billboard Music Awards Rescheduled for October 14th
Written by Brittany Styles on August 18, 2020
Like everything else, the 2020 Billboard Music Awards were postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The awards show was was supposed to take place on April 29th, but will now air live on NBC on October 14. Kelly Clarkson will return to host the event for the third year in a row! Additional details regarding production of the show will be announced at a later date (not shocking).
Nominees are typically announced about one month before the ceremony and depending on the nature of the show, the performers will be announced soon also. They could be virtual or on stage with an audience (fingers crossed)! Here’s what we DO know. Garth Brooks will be receiving an Icon award at this year’s awards show! That’s exciting, and well deserved! Click Here for more info on his award.
Will the awards show be live with celebrities and an audience? It’s not 100% certain. That’s what they’re hoping for, and we are too! Fingers crossed for an awesome show on October 14th! We’ll keep you posted!
