Women are powerful, smart, and ambitious. History is being made in the NFL, showcasing women’s athletic knowledge and abilities, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!
“An NFL matchup on Sunday, Sept. 27, marked the first time in league history that, at a regular season game, each team’s coaching staff included a woman and there was a woman on the field officiating.” How is this only the first time? PopSugar reports, “On the sidelines were Jennifer King, a full-year intern with the Washington Football Team, and Callie Brownson, the Cleveland Browns’ chief of staff. NFL official Sarah Thomas took to the field as the down judge.” 3 females on the football field! Woot woot!
For the first time in NFL history, there will be a game featuring a female ref and female coach on each sideline ?
