This Morning’s 7AM pledge/Shout-Out with Bauer’s market and Garden Center goes to Teddy Roosevelt. President #26, Medal of Honor winner, Rough Rider, 1906 Nobel peace prize winner. It was October 16th, 1901 TR invited Booker T. Washington to the White House for dinner, it sparked a great deal of controversy, to which Roosevelt replied ” I don’t Care”. The New York Times described Him as a President, Author, Conservationist, Historian, Naturalist, Police commissioner, Soldier and Sportsman. Roosevelt passed away in 1919.
