Artists go “Pink” with new song for Breast Cancer Awareness

October is breast cancer awareness month, and several artists have teamed up for a new song titled, “Pink” in an effort to fight breast cancer. The song includes Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, Monica, Jordin Sparks, and Rita Wilson (who is a breast cancer survivor herself).

Each year breast cancer kills more than 42,000 women and men in the U.S. alone. Paula Schneider, CEO of Susan G. Komen, said, “As a breast cancer survivor who lost my mother to metastatic breast cancer, I know first-hand the toll this disease takes on entire families. There is life before breast cancer and life after. We all dream of a world when pink is just another color.”
