Fallen Hero

Today We salute the Memory of Marine Lt. Col. William R. Higgins. Thanks to Bauer’s market and Garden Center Our 7AM pledge with DUKE goes to a slain Marine. It was December 22nd, 1991, when Col. Higgins’ body was recovered along a highway in Lebanon. He was on His way back from a meeting with battling factions in a peace keeping role when He was abducted and held hostage. He was later murdered. Col. Higgins was 45 at the time of His death. He left behind a Wife and Young Daughter. Today we remember, with Gratitude.
