Garth Brooks named Kennedy Center Honoree

Garth Brooks is among those chosen to receive the 43rd Kennedy Center Honors. The list also includes; Joan Baez, violinist Midori, choreographer and actress Debbie Allen, and the legendary Dick Van Dyke.
Billboard reports, “The 2020 edition was postponed to May 2021 due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Live events and filming are planned for the week of May 17-22”.
Billboard also states that “The Honors Gala will be recorded for broadcast on CBS as a two-hour primetime special that will air on June 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT”. Click Here for the full story, and a closer look at each of the nominees!
