KQ98 Salute- Women in Uniform

Today’s KQ98 salute from Bauer’s Market and Garden Center with DUKE goes out to Women in Uniform. It was March 9th, 1976 when the The US Army Academy at West Point began accepting female candidates. In the Spring of 1980 , 62 Female Cadets graduated to become 2nd Lieutenants in the United States Army. Today We celebrate another milestone for Women in the Military.
