Daytona Beach Driver Pulls A Dukes Of Hazzard
Written by Tony Schultz on April 19, 2021
There’s a good number of people that know the frustration of trying to get somewhere quickly and something holds them up. Around the tri-state area we’ve all been stuck behind a tractor or other slow moving vehicle just trying to get where they’re going. Maybe you’ve had to wait for a semi to back into a loading area. It can be stress inducing if we’re already running late, but we usually just accept it for what it is. The most annoying of these moments is if you’ve ever traveled to Winona and got stuck on the wrong side of a train passing through town, or stopped in the middle of it. Have you ever “raced” a train to the other end of town or until the next crossing to get ahead of it before the cross arms drop? I have. It takes luck and skill to know how to pull off this maneuver. Mostly luck. And just to be clear IF THE ARMS ARE DOWN DON’T TRY TO SNEAK THROUGH AS YOU COULD DIE. Not worth it. This video from Daytona Beach shows an individual that decided they just don’t care about stop arms. Or their windshield. Or their shocks. Or their safety.
