Olympic BMX Biker Plows into Race Official Who Walks Onto Track

The Olympics are full of many great, and not-so-great moments. The age of digital technology combined with the big stage and eyes of the world on the games make it fairly easy for anything or anyone to go viral.

The latest occurred during training for a BMX bike competition. Dutch bicyclist, Niek Kimmann, of the favorites of the event, was completing a training run when an Olympic official decided to walk across the track and did so at the very worst time. You can imagine what happened. SMACK!

I’m not sure why an Olympic official, who you’d think would know better would make that decision. Hopefully the official and Kimmann are okay. Kimmann competes on Thursday.
