WIND TURBINE BLADE VS TRAIN

It always seems like when we’re in a hurry we get stuck behind a slow moving vehicle with no opportunity to pass. Slightly more frustrating is when our way is completely blocked. I’m about to appeal to anyone that lives in or makes many trips to Winona and gets caught at the dreaded train crossing with the arms down. It gets the blood pumping more if said train is stopped at the crossing. Have I ever done a U-turn and traveled across the city to get ahead of or to the end of the train to cross the tracks? Yes. Yes I have. I have never seen someone get stuck not getting all the way across the tracks with a trailer or the back of their truck hanging over them, but I’m sure it has happened. The video I’m sharing here shows an extreme example of that as a semi hauling a blade for a wind turbine stops on the tracks to make the turn without hitting anything. Problem is no one seemed to check the train schedule. WARNING: There are a few colorful metaphors in the video that are NOT bleeped out.
