Fans Catch a Falling Cat From Stadium Balcony

Cats really do have nine lives. A cat was able to find its way into Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for the Miami Hurricanes versus Appalachian State Mountaineers football game on Saturday night.

The cat didn’t run onto the field per say, but managed to find its way into a very precarious position as it dangled from the upper deck balcony of the stadium. Two fans from below the balcony jumped into action to try and save the cat. They used an American flag hanging on the railing beside them to catch the cat as it lost its grip and fell. Fans went wild as the cat was brought to safety.

A stray cat at the Miami football game fell from the upper deck and these guys saved it by catching it in an American flag.

Below is another view from the incident. A fan tries to reach overhead to grab the cat and pull it to safety, but it was out of their reach.

Hopefully that’s all the trouble this cat will manage to get into as it certainly cheated death this time around.
