FB TEAMS UP WITH RAY-BAN FOR SMART GLASSES AND WE HAVE MIXED FEELINGS
Written by Brittany Styles on September 28, 2021
Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, it’s a pretty amazing and fun concept. On the other hand, the thought of people being able to snap photos and record videos of anything and everything, without being noticed, is super unsettling!
Facebook introduces the Ray Ban Stories smart glasses. Available for $299, the glasses, which come in a variety of styles including sunglasses or as clear prescriptions, have two built-in 5-megapixel cameras and 3 built-in microphones to record audio or take phone calls. Once you’ve downloaded the app and set up your Ray-ban Stories, you can import and edit photos and videos, create and share unique content, and manage settings. You can download the Facebook View app from the App Store or Google Play. They’re about as close to looking like actual glasses as possible.
It's time we look up again. With #RayBanStories.
