The Weekend Three: October 8th-10th
The Weekend Three highlights three events that take place each weekend across the Tri-States. These events are anything from fundraisers, festivals and fairs to other various community functions. If interested, feel free to take part in any of these events and support local communities.
1. HorseSense 4th Annual Fall Harvest Festival – Coon Valley, WI
The Fall Harvest Festival takes place Saturday, October 9th from 10am-Noon. The nonprofit organization is inviting the public to drive through their 40-acre farm this year instead of gathering together in person for a safer alternative. HorseSense’s therapy horses will be stationed alongside the driveway and guests are encouraged to say hello to their favorite horse from the safety of their vehicle. Drive Thru BINGO among other fun activities will be available for people to play as they navigate throughout the property, and a 50/50 cash raffle will also take place. Custom-made cupcakes will also be available for sale. For more info on the event and their horse therapy programs go to their Facebook page or their website.
2. Fall Gift and Craft Show – Onalaska Omni Center
The 23rd annual Fall Gift and Craft Show is happening at the Onalaska Omni Center both Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10th. The event will be 9am-4pm on Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sunday. Get your holiday shopping done early and visit over 100 vendors showcasing art, décor & home goods, accessories, pottery, jewelry and more! Free parking & admission, though a non-perishable food donation in support of the local food bank is encouraged. For more info go here.
