I know that the real “Karens” of the world are sick of their name being dragged through the Internet muck. The good people with this name really don’t deserve half the grief they get for the few yet embarrassingly mean people in the world that have been branded with their name. Sometimes in these situations we can only sit back and laugh and just get over it, basically. Another thing to do is to completely embrace it so much that you take away it’s power. A restaurant in Australia is basically doing that with a place called “Karen’s Diner” where the staff treats you rudely on purpose. It’s all for fun and I hope any people named Karen out there read this and decide to just own it. Maybe the world will move on from using the name in a sour fashion if you decide it just doesn’t matter anymore. Or you can go complain to the manager.
