MARINE THWARTS CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBERY

There have been videos before of people stopping robberies in one way or another. If you’ve ever seen the classic movie Fast Times At Ridgemont High then you have always guessed what it would be like to be Brad Hamilton and dowse a guy with a pot scalding coffee and be a bit of a hero. It’s never a situation you WANT to be in, but you wonder about what you might do if given the opportunity. In this video that surfaced late last week a Marine at his local convenience store knew exactly want to do as soon as he saw his opportunity. As a would be robber enters the store with his gun pointed firmly at the cashier he seems almost uninterested in James Kilcer. Kilcer quickly and without hesitation grabs the gun and hit the guy with the bag in his hand, disarms him and keeps him restrained until police arrive. This is gentleman is truly a hero! Had Jeff Spicoli been there he totally would have given the the proper response.
