BUZZ LIGHTYEAR ORIGIN MOVIE TEASER TRAILER RELEASED

Sometimes when we see a movie or TV show we want to know the backstory of certain characters. Why are they that way? What made them good? What made then evil? How did they get to this point in life? That’s a big part of why the Marvel superhero movies are so popular because whether you’re a comic book geek or just like a fun movie you can enjoy it fully because you know why the characters are the way that they are. When Toy Story came out in 1995 kids and moms and dads were wowed by the computer graphics and the touching story about the relationship between kids and their toys if toys were alive. It’s one of the few movies and franchise that some kids grew up on that parents loved to be a part of. Each sequel gave us more reasons to be invested in these characters, but they mostly focused on Woody and his relationship with his kid, Andy. Buzz Lightyear was just this cool space toy that was super popular because kids were always waiting for the next big thing toy to come out. In the movies we got Woody’s backstory and why he was popular, but we were left wanting for the story of Buzz. He was a Space Ranger exploring the galaxy and his enemy was Emperor Zurg. Pretty simple. Now Disney Pixar has released the teaser trailer for the upcoming story called simply “Lightyear” with Captain America actor, Chris Evens voicing the character originally voiced by Tim Allen. So we’ll finally get to see Buzz’s full story and one last time share some time with our kids – whether they’re grown up or not watching another story connecting us to their childhood and our own.
