FORMER TWINS PLAYER PERFECTLY GUESSED THE WINNER OF THE WORLD SERIES LAST SPRING

Every once in awhile we make a guess at something and it comes true. Whether the odds are in our favor or not, or whether we do countless hours of research, or if we just throw something out there. It happens. Have you ever been watching a sporting event and say something like, “He going to turn the ball over” and then it happens. Are you a genius? Nope, just lucky. I was once at a Vikings game against the Eagles at the Metrodome. I was sitting next to some friendly Eagles fans and we were enjoying the game. The Eagle fan turns to me with the Vikings third and long at around the 50 yard line and says, “Watch this! This is third and touchdown!” As if the Gods were listening Warren Moon hit Jake Reed on a pass that went to the end zone. I thanked him for that. One guess that is getting a bunch of attention is a tweet from former Minnesota Twins player Trevor Plouffe from last March when he made the following prediction:
Not only did he guess both participants in the World Series, but he also nailed the fact that the Braves would win in 6 games! As you can read in the thread he didn’t put in a bet on the game, but due to the tweet’s popularity that he is asking folks to donate to charity. So check it out and maybe give a little back.
