GOPHERS WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS ARE PERFECTION

With the Olympics coming up we all seem to remember there are other sports out there than just the “big 4”. With everyone being able to share live streams and videos of performances we missed it really opens up the world to athletes at all sports. Every athlete is always striving for their sport’s version of a perfect game. Not completely unattainable, but rare nonetheless. A couple of University of Minnesota Golden Gophers gymnasts reached that goal the other night. Gymnastics can be very subjective because there are so many points to be judged on. You don’t just cross a goal line and points go up. So the fact that not just one but two gymnasts from the same school both scored perfect scores is quite the accomplishment. I’m no expert, but even in my limited layman’s terms knowledge I know a perfect landing when I see one.
