QUESTION ABOUT MINNESOTA STUMPS JEOPARDY CONTESTANTS
Written by Tony Schultz on February 16, 2022
Everyone that goes on Jeopardy is smart. They are waaaaaayy smarter than me and most of the people that enjoy watching. The questions – or should I say answers are not just simple, trivial bits of information. You have to have a wealth of knowledge and memory retention to know what to say when answering in the form of a question. The other day in Final Jeopardy they had a question about The Midwest as the category. The players all got it wrong. The answer was, “At about 90,000 it’s the most populous U.S. city on North America’s biggest lake.” As all Minnesotan’s know the question is, “What is Duluth, Minnesota?” I went and checked with “The Human Google”, Brad Williams and he had it right away. So, when it came to Minnesota and the Midwest those folks aren’t so smart. It can be a little hard to hear because it’s video of his TV, but we can hear everyone from the tri-states saying, “Uff da!”
