WRONG WORD POSSIBLY NULLIFIES YEARS OF BAPTISMS
Written by Tony Schultz on February 17, 2022
In our industry people say the wrong word all the time. Whether it’s an incorrect pronunciation of a name or place or using the wrong word altogether. If traveling you are going somewhere “specifically” not “pacifically” unless you are traveling there in a calm manner, or maybe heading to the west coast. For the most part it doesn’t cause too much trouble unless the word you utter is a word the FCC has deemed not for use on the airwaves. Then you get fired. A priest in Arizona recently resigned over a mistake he made. He was using a wrong word when conducting baptisms for several years. To anyone on the outside it doesn’t sound like qa big deal, but apparently it is. Whoops.
