This Week is ‘National FFA Week’

This week is National FFA Week where chapters across the country join in, celebrate, and share what the FFA is and the impact it has on its members.

The FFA provides a strong foundation for the youth of America while promoting a lot of things including leadership, patriotism, community involvement, personal growth and career success among its members. The FFA also ensures that young professionals meet the growing needs in the science, business and technology of agriculture which continues to be of vital importance and will be in the years ahead.

The Minnesota FFA Foundation, who support 13,000 FFA members, is having a one-day giving campaign called “GIVE FFA DAY” on Thursday, February 24th. The campaign was put together to help promote Minnesota FFA. Donations will be accepted through their website here.

Follow Minnesota FFA Foundation on Facebook here during “GIVE FFA DAY” to hear stories from local Minnesota FFA students, teachers, and donors and sponsors to the foundation. Throughout the day, they’ll be drawing for gifts. All of the proceeds from “GIVE FFA DAY” will go directly back to Minnesota FFA members.

This week, KQ98, Preston Dairy Equipment, New Albin Savings Bank and Norwegian Hollow Hideaway in Viroqua would like to salute the FFA and it’s impact on youth from around the Tri-States and congratulate them.
