UKRAINIAN GIRL SINGS ‘LET IT GO’ IN BOMB SHELTER

A few days ago this video started to hit the net. It is of a small girl singing “Let It Go” from the hit Disney movie “Frozen”. Normally this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but this time it is much different. The little girl isn’t just some kid that could live down the street from you or is auditioning for a reality competition on a major network. This little girl, Amelia Anisovych is singing the song in a bomb shelter in the Ukraine to adults sheltering there with her. Her beautiful voice carries well as the group falls silent and the most noticeable action is those wiping away tears. While she sings it in her native tongue we all know the words and that makes it that more impactful as she seems unfazed as to why they are in that space to begin with. Her voice and her smile light up at the opportunity to spread a little joy to those with her. What is even better is that she and her grandmother safely crossed the border into Poland. However, her parents stayed behind to help feed the Ukrainian soldiers as they defend themselves against Russia. Let’s hope this family is reunited soon and she can sing to them again.
