Some hair styles never go out of style and some are doomed to never return. While the bowl cut made a brief reappearance in the 90’s it luckily died off quickly. The mullet has a current resurgence due to singers like Morgan Wallen and Hardy making it a fun hairdo to flaunt. Add in the last 2 years of Covid had people cooped up with nothing to do other than experiment with their hair because no one would see it anyways. However, there is a group of young people in Minnesota where flowing heads of hair are always in season and they vie to be the best of the best. The Minnesota High School Boys Hockey State Tournament is a huge event that people in The State Of Hockey attend whether their kids or school are even playing. To some it’s basically a holiday and annual trip. One of the shining moments that everyone loves is the announcement of the players on the teams as they take the ice and the boys get their “Hi Mom” moment with the camera. This is greatly accentuated with the annual look at their hairstyles and the amount of flow is in that head of lettuce. The boys have gotten better at their presentations and it has gone from just long hair to a collection of the best mullets, flowing Farrah Fawcett like blowouts, and shaved and dyed hair styles in the state. Every year their is a breakdown of the best lettuce you’ll see this side of the garden! The All Hockey Hair Team has become as much of a staple as the tourney itself, and the narration is always the best form of Minnesota nice mixed with out state “you betcha” fun. Take a look and be amazed, frightened, and a bit jealous of these flowing manes of greatness at “Flowchella”.
