MORGAN WALLEN RELEASES EPIC BONUS TRACK WITH CONNECTION TO WINONA, MN
Written by Tony Schultz on April 1, 2022
It isn’t often that a country music artist sings about the mid-west. Mostly the songs are directed at southern states that see snow as often as we see palm trees up here. They reference heading to the Grand Ole Opry and not the Mall Of America or Wisconsin Dells. There really should be more of that if you ask me. I thought it was very cool when we got word from Morgan Wallen’s record company this afternoon about his most recent release that they were sending to stations and found there was a direct reference to Winona. I don’t know if he just heard about it when he was at Riverfest a few years or if there is a bigger story behind it. It must be more than just a passing flight of fancy as the song makes a few local references. So grab your fishing pole and head out to Mosquito Island with memories of The Hot Fish Shop with this fun song you can blast from your car or boat speakers! CLICK THE PICTURE TO LISTEN TO IT! You’ll be able to download it by May.
