IRON MAN MIGHT BE MORE OF A REALITY THAN WE THINK

According to all the shows and movies we watched from the 70s and 80s by now we would all have flying cars, jet packs, and robots. One of my first GI JOE toys was the “JUMP” Jet Pack set. I loved it! Truthfully we do have all those things, but not as an everyday convenience that help us with out daily tasks. It can be sad to think about at times. I could use a robot to help with a few things and a flying car would get me to work quicker without traffic to deal with. Who wouldn’t want an Iron Man suit? I mean, you can fly anywhere and could take out some bad guys too. We’re getting closer to that as these videos from Gravity Industries show. Some are showing military applications, but mostly they are focusing on search and rescue opportunities like being able to fly up a mountain or other treacherous terrain quickly to render aid. It’s pretty cool to watch and see that someday this might be deployed before an ambulance or helicopter to save someone’s life.
