TIGER WOODS IS RETURNING TO THE MASTERS
Written by Tony Schultz on April 6, 2022
Everyone loves a comeback story. Sometimes you have to have more than one in a lifetime, but everyone loves it. Tiger Woods was the biggest name in sports in the late 90s and early 2000s for his ability to be the best player in golf. He was the “Michael Jordan of golf” with his dominant play and a personality that everyone loved. Fame sometimes comes with a price and after he crashed his car and was chased by his wife in a fit of anger everything came unraveled. Cheating, substance addiction, and a sharp decline in his play. But everyone gave him a chance to mend fences and he did just that. However, in February of 2021, just as things were looking up for Tiger he had a car accident where he injured both legs in a manner some questioned whether he would ever play again. Fast forward to last week when speculation of him playing started to become a a louder buzz. This week he made it official and announced that he would be back and playing in The Masters as his first competition. Not exactly a small stage to start out on. Good luck to Tiger on his comeback! Maybe he winds it all this weekend. You just never know.
