ONALASKA HOME LISTING LETS YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE

The housing market the last couple years has been pretty insane. Houses have been selling well above their true market value all over the country. During the pandemic people were selling due to concerns of not working while those with secure jobs jumped on the opportunity to get their dream house or upgrade from what they were living in. I myself love scanning Zillow and Realtor.com just to see what is out there and then send ridiculously priced houses with crazy features to my wife with statements like, “We’re moving” or “Look at this piece of crap house”. Sometimes you do find something truly amazing. A house in Onalaska has been listed for sale and I remember seeing it come across my search at one point. I quickly scanned it as it was pretty normal and nothing really caught my eye. Apparently, I did not look close enough as several people saw what I had missed. Specifically the sign over the master bedroom bed that reads ……. “Welcome to Poundtown”. It has become so popular that the listing post has gone viral with people all over the country making jokes at its expense. Most realtors would most likely suggest you remove that sign to not offend anyone, but these folks must have felt that it would give it the traction that it has garnered. No word on whether the sign comes with the house, but there may be buyers that will back out if it’s not just because of the 15 minutes of fame it has.
