SUNNY D HAS MADE THE MISTAKE OF INSULTING MINNESOTA AND IT’S HILARIOUS

Yesterday in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota the new Taco Bell Defy opened. It’s a revolutionary take on take out where you can’t go in the building but simply drive up and get your food sent down a magical tube elevator. You can order when you drive up or order on the Taco Bell app and pick it up. Minnesota or really any mid-western state is a great place to try this out to see if it works since we have a change of seasons that includes snow. The building is modern looking and I’m sure will be very busy for a few weeks because of its unique look and operation. Some people obviously don’t think that Minnesota deserves to have this wonder of food technology. One company (person?) decided to ask the question right on Taco Bell’s tweet of why Minnesota deserved this. That company was Sunny D, or Sunny Delight to those of an older generation. Yes, the sweet orange drink forayed into the dangerous position of drawing the ire of Minnesotans and their passive aggressive style of disapproval.
It may be the funniest thing I’ve read off the internet lately as tweeters did not disappoint in their creative responses. My absolute favorite is one tweeter who responded “On Prince’s birthday?! RUDE”. I may have laughed harder at these than I really should of, but the reads were worth it.
