INTERNET EXPLORER IS GOING AWAY AND NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY ABOUT IT
Written by Tony Schultz on June 15, 2022
Are you old enough to remember when search engines were a new thing? When there was literally too many to know where you should be looking for the best results? Remember Ask Jeeves, Ms. Dewey, Yippy, or Pimp My Search as search engines? Those have all gone the way of the Dodo bird and are no defunct. Now one of the longest running web browsers – 27 years strong is retiring. Internet Explorer is no longer supported as of today by Microsoft. They now use Edge which is their latest browser iteration since 2015. While many tech savvy individuals scoff at Explorer and there are several memes that mock it’s slow response and constant crashes there are also those that are concerned their home or work offices will struggle because that’s the browser their software interacts with. So, either update to Edge or switch over to Chome or Firefox for your browser needs before you might be forced too anyways.
