A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE PILOT

Taking a trip can be so exciting! Sure, getting packed and ready to go and unpacking when you get home stinks, but the trip and the memories make up for the hassle. And the airport! That can be an adventure all it’s own. Getting there extra early, the screening process, checking in and then waiting for quite a while to leave can get tiresome. There are times that the trip – just being there was the actual trip. Recently a woman boarded the plane for a trip to Hawaii and the pilot had a special announcement. Her husband had emailed the airline and asked for it to be announced that she was cancer free. The pilot did a great job. It just goes to show that no matter how stressful it can be to go on that big trip there are those that had a tougher time getting there.
