THE STORY OF GEORGE JONES AND TAMMY WYNETTE WILL BE A MINI-SERIES

Biopics can be a fascinating way to see into the lives of famous people. There are those where we know a majority of their story with several holes or misconstrued moments that have been inflated over the years. I recently saw the movie “Elvis” and it was incredible to get a different view of “The King” as told through the eyes of Col. Tom Parker. Another great biopic is “Bohemian Rhapsody” the story of the rock band Queen. Wonderfully done and a true inside look at the band and their best and worst moments. Coming soon is the story of George Jones and Tammy Wynette to Paramount’s streaming service as a six episode series. “George and Tammy” will focus not just on their time as a married couple, but on their relationship that carried on decades later. Michael Shannon has a very close resemblance to George and shares similar expressions. Jessica Chastain doesn’t exactly look like her, in my opinion, but she is a wonderful actress and I’m sure will do the part justice.
