PARENT CANDY TAX: WHAT YOU CAN AND CAN’T TAKE THIS EVENING
Written by Tony Schultz on October 31, 2022
I came across a list that is VITAL to parents looking to stick their hands in their kids candy bags after, or during trick-or-treating this evening. Now I have always had my favorite candy to choose from when the kids went out: Frootsie Rolls or the fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls as they are know to some. I’m not sure why they are so good to me, but they are. They are all tasty except for vanilla which I will only eat if I can mix it with another flavor. Dark chocolate Milk Ways, Kit Kat bars, and Caramello are my chocolates of choice with a plain Hershey’s bar being the can’t miss treat of the night. There are some confections that I will never eat and they are on this list. In fact, some of them are the ones you can steal from kids and they won’t complain unless these happen to be their favorites. If so, I don’t know if I’m happy or sad for you. Make sure you go over this list with your kids to see which ones you can have and which ones they may get revenge on you for someday.
Here are the top ten list of candies you can take according to the survey
1. Dove Dark Chocolate Bars.
2. Andes Chocolate Mints.
3. Almond Joys.
4. Mixed nuts. So that one’s not candy, just a bag of nuts.
5. Baby Ruth bars.
6. Butterfingers.
7. Mints. Like the kind they hand out at restaurants.
8. Heath Bars.
9. York Peppermint Patties.
10. Whatchamacallits.
