NAIL POLISH FROM COORS TO MAKE SURE YOUR BEER IS COLD
Written by Tony Schultz on November 16, 2022
We’ve seen the commercials and drank from the cans. When the beer is cold the mountains on the side of the Coors can turn blue. Seems like an unneeded attribute when you can feel it as soon as you touch the can that you had in the fridge for several hours. Whatever. Marketing comes in all forms. But at some point someone asked, “What if the beer comes from the tap? There aren’t any mountains to tell you if it’s cold!” Someone at Coors came up with an answer to that: nail polish that turns blue. Genius. As you sit there holding your glass of beer your cold finger tips will tell you that the beer is the proper temperature. How long you have to wait to tell if it’s cold in unknown. Also, do they turn blue if you just don’t wear gloves on a cold day? Either way if you know a cold beer drinking woman, or a guy that wants to paint his nails you have a stocking stuffer ready to go.
