SOME NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS TO HELP YOU IN 2023
Written by Tony Schultz on December 30, 2022
Every year the talk of resolutions comes up and how we’re going to change habits and “make (insert year here) the best year ever!” Sometimes we put too much pressure on those resolutions and set unattainable goals or feel like if we stray for a bit we can’t start back up. Some goals are easier than others. If you want to take a location off your bucket list you can set the flight, hotel and itinerary and know that you have to hold to that and complete it. Other goals like weight loss, fix up the whole house, or learn a new language take more time and concentration and perseverance to achieve. They can be accomplished and may need help of others around you or even take more than one year. I was looking for list of resolutions and one I found breaks it down into better steps to improve your lifestyle instead of a wholesale goal that might not be achievable. Using certain steps might help you reach a goal you really want or didn’t even know you were trying to achieve. So instead of saying, “I want to lose 50 pounds” you could instead to say, “I’m going to walk more often”. Later on you may find you’ve lost the weight without that being the goal. Maybe even combine a few goals, such as learn to cook along with eating healthier and that helps you see other results. I read through this list and it gives some of the tried and true resolutions along with different ideas to try this year. Hopefully, these tips and resolutions help you stay on track or find a new track to travel down. Click the photo for the list of 50 resolutions to help you this year.
