MINNESOTA DOT HAS THEIR ANNUAL SNOWPLOW NAME WINNERS

Politics is awful and not a lot of fun. We vote and hope for the best even if our candidate doesn’t win. The Minnesota Department or Transportation has a fun vote every year to name snowplows throughout the state. Most agree it’s some winter time fun that they can laugh about and not have much debate over. The winners were announced yesterday and the names are a mix of pop culture reference and musical influence. Usually they have a touch of Minnesota flavor as well, but it isn’t necessary. I was surprised there was only one Prince submission, but there have been a few of those over the years and you can only make snow puns to so many of his songs. What do you think of the winners? I like our district’s plow’s new name! Makes you sing the commercial more than the original song. French Vanilla! Rocky Road! Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie dough!
