MORGAN WALLEN HAD A ROUGH WEEKEND

The old saying, “When it rains, it pours” can really explain how bad it’s going for someone. Just one moment for a famous person can be bad enough when caught on video, but when you get to two you have to figure other minor things in their life, like stubbing their toe getting out of the shower seem magnified. Thursday night Morgan Wallen was walking towards the front of a fog filled stage when he tripped and disappeared into the fog with folks not knowing if he fell off the edge. He kept singing and quickly popped back up without missing a beat or a lyric in the song. He even kept smiling and gave a wink to the audience. No go to Sunday night. While it’s not as embarrassing as falling live in concert not having a concert at all can be troublesome. He was performing down in Oxford, Mississippi for two shows on Saturday and Sunday. It sounds like the first show went off without a hitch, but Sunday night he had to cancel due to losing his voice. It sounds like he tried to get it worked out and warmed up in time for Sunday’s show but canceled at the last minute. The opening acts performed before they put an announcement up on the big screens for the audience and he put out a social media post stressing his disappointment and that they would all receive refunds. Hopefully he recovers and can continue without issue for his tour and that he doesn’t have any other hiccups along the way.
