Politics is a difficult forum to maneuver. One wrong move, slip of the tongue, embarrassing photo, or stumble can cause chaos to engulf your campaign. People are just waiting to make a mountain out of a molehill so they can take you down by making you look bad. While most candidates endure this they can usually move past it and it becomes a blip on the radar. There are times when candidates do something so profound and on purpose that it mars their candidacy forever. Let’s travel to Canada where Kevin Clarke, a Toronto mayoral candidate decided to crash a mayoral debate. Why he had to crash it isn’t clear, but there are usually rules in place. We’ll have to see if he ever gets to speak about his concerns publicly or if this type of behavior is why he wasn’t invited in the first place.
