CONOR MCGREGOR KNOCKS OUT MIAMI HEAT MASCOT

Teams and major league sports are full of gimmicks and funny promotions. The Brewers have the Sausage Races, the Vikings have the Mascots vs Youth Football games at halftime, and in basketball there is usually a half court shot contest. Most of them are harmless fun with a few twists here and there or some kid getting trucked by an adult in a mascot costume. During game four of the NBA Finals the Miami Heat had a skit at a timeout where UFC legend Conor McGregor squared off against the Heat’s mascot. They danced around a bit before McGregor hits the mascot knocking him out and winning the bout. The only problem is Conor way have been a bit overzealous as he literally knocked the person down with one blow and a second while he laid on the ground. I have a feeling they told him not to worry as there is this big cushy head to protect the person inside. That was not the case. The stunt was done to announce a team up with the fighter and his new pain relief spray.
