KIDS SURVIVE 40 DAYS IN THE AMAZON JUNGLE

I’ve seen plenty of movies about surviving the worst scenarios. Shipwrecks, plane crashes, volcanoes, blizzards, earthquakes, and giant aliens have all been the cause to a group of people needing to survive in the worst of conditions. So often people are quick to look at a movie or TV show and say, “That would never happen! No one could survive that!” Those people are annoying. It’s just a show. Lighten up, Francis. However, sometimes these movies are based on true stories like “Alive” which is the true story of soccer players whose plane crashes in the Andes mountains and they need to get out on their own to be rescued. Recently a plane crashed in the Amazon jungle leaving all adults on board dead and the only survivors 4 children with one of them being 11 months old. Somehow they survived for 40 days in the jungle until they were rescued! That’s amazing! The jungle is full of any manner of insects, reptiles, and other predators that could have taken one or all of their lives. It’s truly incredible that they all survived.
