A NOT SO SMOOTH FATHER’S DAY AT THE BALL FIELD

There’s nothing that makes dads happier than taking their kids to an experience. Their first bike ride on a trail, camping, concerts, and that first ball game at their favorite team’s home field. I know how cool it felt when I got to take my kids to their first Vikings football game. We had a great time! Not every trip goes so smooth though for everyone. One of the highlights of going to a baseball game is catching a home run but for most catching a foul ball from their favorite team or player can be just as fun, especially for kids. At a Boston Red Sox game yesterday a foul ball went into the stands and a nice person decided to throw it up to a kid in the stands. His dad lets his younger son see it and he immediately throws it back on the field! Older brother does NOT take that lightly. What started as a great day at the park quickly changes. The Red Sox were cool about it though and gave the boys some merchandise to smooth things over. Hope your Father’s Day went smoother than this!
